Senior Facilities Manager

Job description:
Responsible for the total Facilities Maintenance of all buildings under management; including, managing the formulation, content and procurement of FM contracts and FM service delivery.

Reporting to:
Managing Director

Areas of responsibility include:

  • Contract drafting, Tender preparation, Tender review and procurement, drafting KPI’s and SLA’s for service contracts and establishing FM contractor relationships;
  • Supervision of the FM service delivery by contractors;
  • Co-ordination of building Condition Surveys and audits

Essential competencies:
Experience working in a client facing environment along with exceptional administration skills is a requirement for the successful applicant.

Practical:

  • Minimum of 5 years Facilities Maintenance, Construction Management, Project Management/Consultancy experience of multiple site locations in Dubai.
  • Must possess strong leadership, time management and analytical skills
  • Possesses good working knowledge of utility systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire & life safety, etc.) and building infrastructure
  • Must be able to liaise with Government departments (e.g. Civil defense & EHS)
  • Fluency in English and a second Language is a must (preferred Arabic/Urdu/Hindi)
  • Valid UAE driving license and own car a must

Academic:

  • Minimum Specialized Degree in Engineering e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Civil (+ BA degree preferred)
  • Excellent IT literacy skills
